Paynesville Christian Church is an independent non-denominational congregation of believers who have committed our lives to serving Jesus Christ and showing Him to others daily. Our only creed is Christ, and Him crucified. We have no book of authority but the Holy Scriptures, the Bible. Our plea is for Christian unity. Our mission is to seek and to save that which was lost. We are not the only Christians, but Christians only.

PCC is a somewhat traditional small country church (with a little bit of high-tech thrown in). As a visitor, you will always receive a warm welcome at PCC, but you won't be able to stay a visitor for long. A couple of visits is usually all it takes to feel like a part of God's family here. You won't get lost in the crowd, and we will miss you when you are not in attendance.

We promote spiritual growth in the life of each worshiper. Maybe you are just looking for a place to worship the Lord, and feed on His word. Maybe you are looking for a place to serve Him, and make a difference in the lives of others. Or maybe you are still looking for the answers. No matter where you are in your Christian walk, there is a place for you in Paynesville.

We love to sing praise to the Lord with a blend of old gospel favorites, and some of the more contemporary choruses. Special music is a weekly event, and whether its one of our talented musicians, gifted vocalists, or the men's quartet performing, we always make "a joyful noise" unto the Lord.

Since it's founding in 1907, PCC has enjoyed fellowship at the church house located in Paynesville, Indiana. The small town of Paynesville is located 2 miles east of Indiana State Road 62, 10 miles south of the town of Hanover in southern Indiana. (See our "Contact Us" page for travel directions.)
